Customer Service Representative review

Customer Servicer Representative (Current Employee)
Southfield, MI

ProsDecent for an "entry level" position. This is a great job if you are satisfied with a boring job where you get yelled at several times a day by unhappy members and providers, you don't mind inconsistency of information from management, being held to near impossible metrics, and constantly being reminded to WOW everyone! Its a great "stepping stone" position.

ConsThey say there is tons of room for advancement, but unless you are hired into another department, you can toss that "dream" aside. Pay is ok, compared to most places, about $13.25/hr with the chance of a very small raise yearly.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you really want to satisfy members AND providers, give us correct and proper tools with the time to make the "customer" happy. An irate customer being rushed by a rep only makes them more irate. Service should not be about how fast calls are handled, but how satisfied the customer is.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
