I worked at UnitedHealth Group full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Good Benefits, fair pay, and respect if you have a good manager.

    Cons

They tend to hire managers who act very favorably, and they do not like to handle transfers from salespeople. If you are in sales, forget about getting another job within the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please hire management that can work with all employees, not just the golden children.

I have been working at UnitedHealth Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Company is only about 10 years old and is growing at a HUGE rate. They like to hire from within when possible and seem to love Veterans.

    Cons

I can't really think of any right now.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow the policies to grow with the company. All policies are not in writing which causes challenges for all of us. People need to know the policies and need to be able to find them quickly.
