I worked at UnitedHealth Group full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Working at home is the only perk for this company.

Cons

Upper Management are not qualified to be management. Do not give employees a chance if make an error....do not care what happens and guide you. All worried about is the survey that the members leave....but cannot redeem is the member did not understand the scoring. Supervisor have there favorites and anyone else they try to get rid of without giving a second chance. Benefits are horrible....for an insurance company they should not have you pay. You have to be a favorite of management to get anywhere. Make promises to employees and used them but do not promote! Can't believe they are in business still.

Advice to Management

Get management that has customer service experience and train them to be compassionate! People do have lives and things happen...

I have been working at UnitedHealth Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Connextions is always hiring, anybody.

    Cons

Compensation, management, environment, business practices, policies set in place which apply to some but not all, and everything besides the fact that this company is always hiring, always to replace employees who have quit on the spot or those who have been terminated; Connextions is never hiring to fill newly created positions.

    Advice to Management

Unfortunately, most members of management are unable to actually make any substantial changes within this company and the CEO, Mr. LeFort, resigned in early 2013. Whomever is actually in charge should, if they even care, take a close look at why so many employees dread coming to work each day, there is such a high employee turnover rate, and the educated and professional employees are few and far between.

    Pros

    Can provide Large company opportunities

    Cons

you need to spend a large part of your time watching your back. It seems that the culture is to put others down to bring yourself up.

    Advice to Management

Be more insistant on your goal of improving the culture. Some companies are just giving it lip service.
