I have been working at UnitedHealth Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Collaboration - willingness to partner across organizations
Strong market presence - client relationships are strong and repeat business makes working with clients teams easy - the trust is already there
Leaders are accessible and listen - gaining consensus to make changes or develop new capabilities in easier than at many other companies

    Cons

Navigating a large organization where some of the ownership to capabilities/focus get blurred
Organizational change - transitional period as the company becomes one Optum - it is not a Con as much as individuals working at Optum need to be self-starters - aggressive with reaching out and identifying the right people to work with.
While gaining promotional opportunities is easy to do if you are a seasoned and dedicated - upping the salary commensurate with the increased responsibilities and title is not easy to do

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO
