    Pros

Telecommuting, the operations staff RN's are exceptional!!

    Cons

No real development of staff. The best managers are let go and replaced with cheaper people at a lower level. Starting to offshore with India replacing US jobs. Layoffs and the employees are forced to find their own transfers. My former boss was let go found a new job at United and then had to payback her severance she used between the layoff and the new job at UHG. IT systems are painful, they are created and not supported.

    Pros

Great benefits, company stock, 401k matching, great amount of time off, and company size.

    Cons

Goals/bonuses based on goals set by people who work remotely and know little about the market. Overbearingly micromanaged, poor work/life balance, working with compliance, position should be split up into 2-3 people, AEP demands make it impossible to manage people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit missing the boat with the little things. We all get paid on sales, not all the little things that barely matter. I find myself responding to management more than being in the field mentoring, training, and recruiting my team.
