Former Employee – worked at Unitek Information Systems

Pros – Unitek generally hires fun, friendly people. This makes the day to day a very enjoyable experience. They also are very good about advancement from within. If a position is created or if one opens up, they will always look to fill that position from within. In my time there I saw an impressive number of employees advance their careers.

Cons – Unitek tries to get the most amount of performance from the least amount of people. This means an employee is very busy and has many simultaneous tasks. Maybe because of the opportunity they are giving you, they have an expectation of very hard work on your part.

Advice to Senior Management – My only advice is to hire more people and reduce some of the pressure on current staff. Although it's tough to argue with success. Unitek kept virtually all of its employees thru the last few years of economic downturn. Job security is not something you can really fault them for!
