Current Employee – been working at Universal Protection Service
Pros – The company is growing so there is job security. They are also pro-active in being ahead of the curve in education and staying on top of current events that impact the physical security industry.
Cons – Life work balance is still a nice ideal but not so much a reality. While I believe they have the best of intentions the reality of any 24/7 industry is profits rule over life - work balance.
Advice to Senior Management – Please look beyond the shear number of hours an office serves in determining the support staff. Under the current org structure an office providing 5000 hours across two sites gets more support staff than an office providing 4000 hours across 50 sites. Everyone would be better served by a broader "big picture" understanding.
