I worked at University College London full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are many pro's to working here - Great Location. Good reputation. Excellent pension. Cycle to work scheme. Obviously the rest are going to be job/department/manager specific.

    Cons

More could be done for career progression. There are many courses offered to staff, but these are usually 1 to 2 day one-off courses and very often introductory level. I believe most postdocs are quite capable of acquiring introductory level abilities without these courses. There should be regular advanced options for popular subjects/software due to the nature of the staff.
