Pros

University of Alberta is the top 5 university in Canada. The work environment is comfortable and you will work with very nice and friendly people.

Cons

The winter in Edmonton is long and cold. Hard to find a better position for future career plan.

    Pros

    They treat us good, unlike some other universities, professors treat their TAs and RAs equally.

    Cons

    The budget is always tight, the salary is too low.

    CS department has a Strong faculty in AI and Machine Learning.
    Several big companies come to campus to hire new grads.

    Cons

    Number of students in recent year have been grown up, but not the facilities in the university.
    Budget cut has affected students' and faculties' works and lives.
