I have been working at University of British Columbia full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

contact to international co-workers and students, exposure to industry partners, different projects to work on, good equipment, great location, great collaboration between groups and/or departments

Cons

salary is low and always depends on budget of the prof, not easy to get promoted or increase in salary, more focussed on research rather than teaching

Recommends
Neutral Outlook
No opinion of CEO
