I worked at University of Central Florida part-time for more than a year

Pros

The versatility of opportunities available for students to explore as part time employees in a given short period of time during the course of study
The availability of exposure to various levels in moving up the ladder
The benefits that come along such as subsidies to local attractions

Cons

Pay is less for the amount of work needs to be put in and the fact that work can sometimes become monotonous

I have been working at University of Central Florida full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The people I worked with are fantastic. Very nice and willing to work. The environment of working with students is fun and the campus is beautiful.

    Cons

Mediocrity is the standard in such a bureaucracy. Committees and unqualified management lead truly innovative employees to stagnate. Eventually people just sit idle in their desks doing the minimum.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
