I have been working at University of Chicago

Pros

You'll probably get a pretty nice job afterward.

Cons

The place will probably kick your ass, and seriously decrease the size of any ego you may have.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The sink-or-swim attitude towards students knocks some smart people out of a decent GPA simply because they lack guidance.

I worked at University of Chicago

    Pros

    Laid back.
Come and go as you please.
    Compensation OK.

Most management "juiced-in" from University family.
    Senior management overpaid.
Medieval with respect to for-profit company thinking.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Blow up the Press and start over again with management with at least room-temperature IQs.
