Great place to start a career

Program Coordinator (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

Pros(a) Access to awesome institutions, perks, libraries, people, faculty, buildings, events, etc.!
(b) Great community of nerdy/geeky people seeking to create and add to knowledge.
(c) See item (a).

Cons(a) Very stratified, hierarchical work structure that makes it difficult to move up the ladder.
(b) Mounds upon mounds of red tape to get anything accomplished.
(c) Very little openness to change (though new ideas are encouraged, which can be frustrating).

Advice to Senior ManagementHire outside the box. Think more about the contemporary world in which we live. Stop relying on old tricks to get the job done.
