I worked at University of Chicago part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

They are pretty lenient and you work with some of the sharpest minds. I enjoyed my time there because it allowed me to gain skills without too much pressure

    Cons

Sometimes there was not enough to do. i sometimes had to make my own things do and occupy my time. Sometimes pushing paper

I worked at University of Chicago full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Location in the City is great

    Cons

HR is terrible, there is no direction throught the entire university. No definable vision, no real plan of getting anywhere. If I could submit zero stars I would.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop a plan that does more than use flowery terms and lip service. Action, Action, Action.
