Variable Experience Depending on Who You Work For

Research Associate (Current Employee) Cincinnati, OH

ProsExcellent benefits! Departmental business managers were excellent and helpful. Be sure to go to them if you have problems with your PI!

ConsMost of the PIs are academics and don't have much management experience. Not uncommon for workers to work over 40 hours per week without extra pay because they are paid based on salary.

Advice to Senior ManagementBecome more involved to see what's really going on in the lab to find out if the treatment of employees is appropriate.
