    Pros

The tuition waiver benefit for 3 classes per year (a great way to complete your master's degree for free). There is a balance between life and work at the university, without being overly bureaucratic.

    Cons

Currently, the state is in a pay increase freeze, with no pay increases for the past two years. Additionally, there is some element of bureaucracy at the university.

    Advice to Management

Input should be solicited at all levels of employees, beyond just surveys. Communication up and down the chain of command is valuable, but tends to become isolated in the senior leadership areas (officers and above).
