    Pros

    Worked in the math department. Very good mix of people, good level of assistance with teaching and teaching prep

    I have been working at University of Connecticut full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Good healthcare insurance offered, subsidized by the state. Good research facilities and faculty members.

    Cons

    The university charges very high student fees and there is not a lot of things to do around campus. Graduate students are not treated very well and a lot of administrative duties are late (i.e. summer pay).
