Pros

-They have a great selection of courses
-There are great professors
-They give awesome opportunities for research
-You are always pushed to succeed
-The weather is great

Cons

-I didn't find too many cons about working at the University of Florida. It was far from home for me, so that was a bit of a con. Also, I am from the Midwest where the people are very friendly. In Florida, there is a bit of an East Coast atmosphere. People are at a much faster pace and aren't as friendly as the Midwest.

Advice to Management

Instead of cutting the budget so much, I think the tuition should be raised a bit. For the quality of the University, the tuition is quite low.

Weather is nice, study environment is good. Lots of parties, which are good for your society.

    Cons

this place is not suitable for those who are suitable for cold weather, and those who like winter. There is no winter in Florida.

    Pros

Reasonable access to healthcare for full time employees. Decent bus system and tolerable parking (can be quite a walk to your office).

    Cons

This place has more red tape than you'd ever imagine; it seems to be how the fiscal and administrative people create job security.
