Working at UH

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Honolulu, HI

ProsFriendly people, good benefits (state job benefits and tuition waiver), choice to join a union for regular full-time employees

ConsFirst paycheck can take 6 weeks (or more if administrative staff messes up), understaffed, overworked employees, low morale (depending which department you're in), underachieving workers protected by the union

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to do a better job in controlling costs and not overcompensate senior management employees. Need to hire more administrative staff. Need better training of employees.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

It's so true that construction costs are pretty… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
