ProsGood employee benefits.
Dynamic research environment
Very close to downtown Chicago.
Great centralized research facilities.
Top 10 Universities in attracting research funding.

ConsAdministration is bad.
Paper work for anything takes forever.
Their HR department is very lethargic.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease improve business side of the things to keep up with fast paced research.

It's all done online initially, but once hired, you show up to HR where… Cons: HR is currently re-classifying all academic jobs and they are converting them to civil jobs to prevent the academic departments from hiring people they know,… Advice to Senior Management: While I don't approve of the cronyism in the hiring of academic departments, all they have to do is stick to… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
