I have been working at University of Iowa part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Excellent colleagues, good if rather expensive healthcare

    Cons

TAship salary not livable if you don't study in the college of arts and sciences. Additionally, the undergraduate culture is not particularly academic, which means that TAs must deal with highly disinterested students.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

All tuition should be covered for graduate student TAs, including if they study in another college with higher tuition than CLAS.
