Pros

Very good plasma physics groups. Plasma physics at Uiowa is one of the best in USA. You do really good research and have collaborations with the best in the world.

Cons

You need to work hard to meet your goals, and that is not a con. Cannot think of any cons. You have to do your work fast and publish.
