    Pros

    Collaborative atmosphere and everyone willing to help teach
    Flexible hours but long
    Intellectually challenging

    Cons

    Had to wait a very long time to get my Ph.D.
    Ph.D. isn't worth nearly as much for a career as what it used to be.

    Try harder to accommodate your worker's future career goals.
