I worked at University of Kentucky full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Benefits were excellent
    Coworkers were great!
    Helping patients
    Excellent work-life balance.

    Cons

    Constant business reorganization
Too much soft money, no job security
    Terrible business model
    Displaced employees get no help
You have to pay to park on campus!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop rushing to play with the current hot trend in business, and take care of your employees. You don't pay enough to keep good employees/medical professionals with the state of instability in your business model.

    Recommends

Former Employee - Housing in Lexington-Fayette, KY

I worked at University of Kentucky part-time for more than a year

    Pros

You will receive a free room (dorm or Greg Page apartment). Though maybe this has changed since I was working for the University of Kentucky.

    Cons

You will not be paid for every hour you work, but this is why you receive free housing. You also cannot work 10 or more hours outside of Housing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

We are college students, pay us for the hours we work.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
