University of Manchester Employee Review

Current Employee – been working at University of Manchester full-time

Pros – Great place ... close to city center, a good library, societies and friendly people. The University and research work is highly publicized through media such as news, internet articles, blogs etc.

Cons – Very bad teaching quality compared to universities of the same league. Even lecture notes have errors and exam evaluation contain is done badly. Bad treatment of researchers in engineering and sciences, including taking credit by senior lecturers and profs, bad treatment of international students etc.

Advice to Senior Management – It is high time that the management took measures to improve standards!

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
