I have been working at University of Maryland part-time (less than a year)

Pros

Very flexible hours with respect to class, homework, and other job opportunities you are pursuing. If you are applying for jobs or internships they respect that and work to get your shifts covered. Good experience working with and in front of people, usually highly stressed out because some piece of technology isn't working. During down time you can do homework.

Cons

The work expected is simple so if you try too hard you will get frustrated that people around you are lazy and above you are incompetent/ineffective.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consolidate human resources, some supervisor positions do no work and are unnecessary.
