I worked at University of Maryland part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Nice group of management and employees. Clean work environment. Plenty of perks exist with food and such. Wide variety of food to work with to serve customers

    Cons

Stressful work environment. Work hours and restaurant business varies greatly depending on the time of the semester. It can be intensely busy or deathly slow. You can end on closing time or work 2-3 hours past closing time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on training students a lot better and find a way to retain students. High employee turnover in the kitchen
