I have been working at University of Maryland

Pros

Laid-back work culture. Comparatively inexpensive to live around.

Cons

Very rigid rules. Lethargic and resists change meant to modernize. Likes to stick to the old easy ways.

Advice to Management

You need your employees as much as they need you. Take their feedback seriously

I worked at University of Maryland

    Pros

Great staff, great coworkers, good research experience in the lab. Opportunity to take advantage of a lot of opportunities on campus as well.

    Cons

Traffic to and from work was a problem, but that's expected for the area. Otherwise, everything was great.
