Pros

Laid-back work culture. Comparatively inexpensive to live around.

Cons

Very rigid rules. Lethargic and resists change meant to modernize. Likes to stick to the old easy ways.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

You need your employees as much as they need you. Take their feedback seriously

Former Employee - General Technician Assistant in College Park, MD

    Pros

Worked while attending school, (was) close to campus, given opportunities to pick up certain skill

    Cons

Paid very little for the work I was doing, shops are disconnected from each other, poor communication

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Individual shops are operating fine but the upper management need to get on the same page and actually hear what employees think about how things are run. At least once a week we would talk about how poorly in general FM is run.
