Pros

Tuition Reimbursement Health & Wellness Reimbursements Excellent Dental and Vision plan Gained experience teaching in an university setting access to five colleges

Cons

Underpaid compared to other institutions always directly affected by state budget cuts somewhat crappy medical insurance middle of nowhere town

Advice to Management

Treat your GTA's better and increase the pay so we don't qualify for welfare wages.

    State benefits, low pressure, some stability

    No innovation, not eager to think out of the box, not a ton of room for growth

    Listen to your employees and try to understand the big picture. Do not assume because things have run a certain way that it is the right way.

    the students are great--diverse and non-traditional freedom to develop own curriculum

    Cons

    parking is abysmal using too many adjuncts at expense of creating more salaried jobs.

    Advice to Management

    create more Full Time teaching positions (tenure and non-tenure track)
