    Very supportive of employees. Great place to grow.

    Cons

    Pay can be on the lower side but the benefits more than make up for it. Like all places bureaucracy can be annoying

    Flexible hours Generally hands off management (for my job) Highly intellectually stimulating Great co-workers

    Cons

    Researchers who lead big projects need to learn how to manage people and teams IT support work can vary a lot in degree of pain (e.g. non-existent or inappropriate resource to accomplish goals) Lack of leadership leads to continual doubt about priorities, expectations and so on

    Advice to Management

    Generally, researchers and PI's need support when they try to run big projects - team leadership training for example.
