I have been working at University of Minnesota

    Pros

Employers are understanding of your role as a student outside of the job. They rarely had problems giving time off for extenuating circumstances.

    Cons

If you have a bad boss, you're going to have a bad time. As fun as the buildings can be to work in, there are always people can suck the fun out of it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to encourage efforts to make the buildings feel more like homes for residents, instead of a building that's in the business of housing students.
