I worked at University of Minnesota as an intern (More than 3 years)

Pros

You can bring your pets to work at the College of Veterinary Medicine. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help. There is lots of training available.

Cons

It was very difficult to get feedback on performance. There was little accountability at any level.

Advice to Management

Introduce structure and feedback. There is tons of good research being done on this across the university.
