Current Employee – been working at University of Minnesota full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – *Fair pay for your first year of employment
Cons – *Not a lot of opportunity for professional growth
*Horrible benefits
*After your first two years of employment the pay scale is inadequate
*Corporate philosophy does not seem to keep employees in mind (with the exception of the Physician staff).
Advice to Senior Management – *If you don't provide employees with incentive to stay with the company you will continue to have a high turn over rate and the need for a workers union will never go away. The incredibly low cost of living increases and ridiculous criteria for merit raises (when applicable) give this company one of the lower standards in health care employment. The employee insurance plan could be better as well.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
