Positive Outlook
Approves of CEO

I have been working at University of Nebraska full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Everything! I love what I do and love where I work. From the top to everyone below, I find UNO a wonderfully supportive, healthy environment. It is clear that we are cared for and this helps us create the best possible environment for our students. The buildings are beautiful and so are the grounds. There is a sense of pride in the UNO community that is often a rare find.

Cons

Ofcourse, I wish that the pay was higher. I have no other complaints.

    Pros

Great people, decent pay, beautiful campus. I really enjoyed the relationships I made on the job. I was very lucky to have a nice office and access to updated technology.

    Cons

Not a lot of opportunity for advancement, for some employees - the technology was quite outdated. At times it felt like some were at a disadvantage only being an "instructor" and not "faculty".

    Advice to Management

Allow for more opportunity for advancement. Ensure all employees have updated technology. The University needs to approve partner benefits. It would be nice to have employee meal discounts in cafeterias.
