“Could Be Worse, Could Be Unemployed”
Former Employee – worked at University of Nevada Las Vegas full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Job security, Ability to transfer within the University & State system without loss of pay/benefits.
Cons – Mandatory furloughs, decreased pay & benefits, management takes care of management.
Advice to Senior Management – Place more value in & listen more closely to your support staff
