    Pros

    With so many opportunities in a variety of academic departments and support functions at the University of New Hampshire, it is very easy to maintain a forward-moving career without ever having to change the commute.

    Cons

    Some of the positions have lower salaries than those of comparable commercial industries nearby in the Portsmouth and Boston markets, but the benefits package at the University of New Hampshire still beats those of the commercial industry for now.

    Increase benefits that make work-life balance more accessible such as teleworking and flexible shift hours.
