Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsPeople are friendly and helpful - it's truly a research community. Chapel Hill is also a great place to live and work -- very high quality of life.

ConsPostdoctoral fellows are temporary employees - have health insurance but no other substantial benefits.

Advice to Senior ManagementMore time spent managing/advising projects with postdocs and grad students = more/better publications = more grant money = happier labs.

Faculty (Current Employee) Chapel Hill, NC

Pros: Very smart, good people. Very collaborative atmosphere. Cons: Everything takes 50% more steps than it should. The rules and regulations make… Advice to Senior Management: Where are we bound to the state, and where do we have autonomy to cut the red tape? If we want to cut costs vis-a-vis… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
