A world class university with a fantastic culture.

Assistant Professor (Current Employee) Chapel Hill, NC

ProsUNC Chapel Hill has everything you want in an academic setting: great students, fantastic colleagues, and a commitment to the people of North Carolina. I spent my early academic career in the Ivy League, but I found my home at UNC.

ConsThe legislature can make cuts and hurt the mission fo the university. There are also salary freezes unless you get an outside offer.
