I worked at University of North Dakota

    Pros

I was working a the UND Chemistry Department in 2012. I enjoyed the freedom that I had performing research, however, this can vary considerably from job to job.

    Cons

I did not enjoy the Department Chair at the time who often seemed power hungry. There was one instance where he received an e-mail in the wrong way and threatened to fire me accordingly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Establish relationships with your employees. Work together with employees to achieve long-term results.
