I have been working at University of North Texas part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

For student employees, it's nice to have stable employment, to be able to work around your class schedule (and be located near class).

    Cons

There are no benefits available for student employees. Most positions have very little promotion opportunities for student workers since they expect you to graduate and they will fill the same positions with new students.
