come drink the Nike kool-aid

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Proshealthcare benefits are great... salaries decent--except for the high income tax in oregon sort of ruins the higher pay...

Consanyone with the title of "director" lets it go to their head... upper management is abusive towards lower level staff and students... faculty and chairs are clueless... if the building doesn't involve sports or the god athletes, it doesn't get renovated... you can join a union, but be prepared to be at ends with those in the upper echelons of the university... they don't look kindly on the plebeians.. the campus is located in Eugene, Oregon--for those who've never been, the town's basically a giant homeless camp...

Advice to Senior Managementgrow up--you are not god...

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Low paying student job, friendly coworkers and managers, difficult clientele, working for the Financial Aid Office

Information Officer At Financial Aid and Scholarships Office (Current Employee) Eugene, OR

I have been working at University of Oregon part-time for less than a year

Pros: The job is relatively simple, somewhat like call center work. It is also seasonal, so they usually hire on in the summer when things are… Cons: The pay is rather low, and often you are dealing with very angry, anxious and aggravated sorts of people.… Advice to Senior Management: Management does a relatively good job of listening, so there… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
