I have been working at University of Oregon part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Leadership opportunities are very abundant. Great resume builder as it demonstrates responsibility.

    Cons

Very time consuming and can become difficult to focus time on academic work. There is a sense of competition to do more or be more constantly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I wish that the position was a little more hands-off allowing you to develop relationships with residents naturally rather than forceably.
