Current Employee – been working at University of Pennsylvania Health System

Pros – Very exciting place with a lot of opportunities. Very stimulating. Amazing colleagues who are very bright, motivated and accomplished. Plenty of opportunities for mentorship for young faculty.

Cons – It is not clear to me at this time what the future is for a non researcher in terms of leadership positions and independence. Seems like clinicians are at the mercy of RVU goals. Certainly there are a lot of "bosses" who have a say in what I do. Not a lot of control over my own schedule.
