    Great job experience to prepare students for post-graduation life. The University offers flexible hours to accommodate students.

    Cons

    Pay tends to be on the lower end. I experienced some issues with the employment office in terms of receiving initial payments.

    Opportunity to audit classes
    Great Careers Services
    Philadelphia: great restaurants, fun bars, walking distance between Center City and University City

    Cons

    Some labs/departments are past their 'best before' date
    Don't trust reputations, seek previous lab members' advice for candid opinions
    Loosing funding in some areas
    Large organization, bureaucracy
    Lack of support for postdocs, although there is a Biomedical Postdocs Program
