Former Employee - Senior Enrollment Advisor in Phoenix, AZ

I worked at University of Phoenix full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

100% tuition reimbursement and good benefits. The ability to assist new students with enrollment is very rewarding.

Cons

The numerous layoffs within the past 3 years. The constant change in focus between enrollment and retention.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a clear vision to compete with other schools. Better opportunities for top performers would be a great addition and help reduce the amount of burnout on the floor.

    Pros

    The pay is decent
    Great benefits (free tuition)
    Chance ti meet new people

    Cons

Majority of management sucks!! Bunch if literal ass kissers who got their position by doing just that. When they get there they forget their humble beginnings and stick their noses in the air. They suck at giving realistic constructive critisism. Every week there are new policies and why is everyone forever changing seats?!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please remember that you really dont make much more than your team members and are not drill sergeants.
