I have been working at University of Phoenix full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Great working environment, stellar education benefits, leadership supports customer facing roles very well, most employees care a great deal about brand and product ( Pride)

Cons

big company that is shrinking in size means that growing into a management or director position is nearly impossible, department of education changes policies frequently which can greatly impact merit-based compensation

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work with first line employees when making large changes. There is a disconnect between upper-level leadership and employees on the "floor"
