  1. Very stressful, a glorified telemarketing operation that does not value their students.

    Pros

Pros are friendly colleagues (not management), free college tuition, reasonable pay, and good health insurance.

    Cons

Very stressful environment. Management makes constant changes and does not care about the rapport with students that you have built up. Often the changes have a negative effect on the student experience- like changing degree requirements in the middle of a student's program and necessitating an appeal to have this corrected (lots of extra work). You are "judged" based on your call lengths, computer generated tasks completed, and ineffective call campaigns. The running joke is "What does management do?" They are not present in assisting their teams solve their problems and show little regard for solving issues that affect both employees' and students' experience.

    Advice to Management

You are completely out of touch with your employees and the values you teach in your university classes. I left your company and changed schools for my degree as I am disgusted with how this company functions. Management does not belong in an office pushing papers but on the floor and on the job encouraging, training, and improving the work environment.
