Cons

lack of communication, low salary, inexperienced supervisors

Advice to Management

Faculty supervisors should have a crash course on managing staff and staff should be able to assess their supervisory skills.

    Pros

Health Benefits, tuition stipend, and....nope that's about it.

    Cons

Being constantly harrassed by students, faculty, staff, and management for things you have no control over from the time you come in to the time you leave. The pay is/was terrible with no raises in 2 years. A few years ago during a terrible snowstorm I was not able to make it to work (state of emergency in Pittsburgh) and was docked vacation days instead of sick days. Constantly being asked to do more and more with no incentive. Even with the tuition stipend your pay is so low that you couldn't afford the 4-10%. All round worst place I've ever worked. I don't even like

    Advice to Management

Take the needs of your employees into some kind of consideration. Don't try to have one office with 3 people do the entire work of the univeristy.
