Pros

As a student, the treated me fair and with flexibility. I was happy with my experience.

Cons

low pay because of student wages

Advice to Management

At the time, I felt like a part of the team even though I was a student employee. I enjoyed working with the people I worked with.

    Pros

High status university, beautiful campus, some cool people, great weather, many cool things going on, good academic programs, enthusiastic sports program, many different places to work on campus, huge (two campuses - also a con), commitment to being a great university

    Cons

Low salaries for the work, everyone crying poverty, low status of staff, long hours for limited pay, very understaffed, no access to decision makers, low morale, limited career opportunities, huge, two campuses, no work-life balance (this may depend on the department you work for), staff are an afterthought and not valued,

    Advice to Management

Some departments are woefully understaffed - this might seem smart, but can really be a false economy
