I have been working at University of Southern California full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Join the Trojan family - this employer is one of the largest in Los Angeles. Top notch education, high quality research, money being invested in infrastructure and in hospitals. Benefits are great.

    Cons

Salaries can be on the low side. It is an academic institution after all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase employee retention by rewards based on merit. current merit increase system is, in theory, a good idea, but is not implemented well.
